ACCESS FORM


Booking your ticket

Personal assistance tickets for visitors are bookable at no additional fee. These can be booked online along with your tickets via our ticketing partner Ticketmaster.

On the Ticketmaster website, look for the accessible icon  to complete your booking. Verification for personal assistance tickets will be requested by Ticketmaster within 72 hours of purchase.

TRAVEL

The nearest station with step-free access is Earl's Court, which is 0.6 km from the venue. Guidance from Hammersmith and Fulham council about parking for Blue Badge holders can be found here. Please note there is no parking available at the venue except for pre-booked coaches.

ON ARRIVAL

There is step-free, ramped access to the venue. Our entrance area including Information Point, accessible toilet facilities, lockers, entrance to the experience and gift shop are located on the ground level and all have step-free access. Within the experience, there is a lift to access upper floors. 

The event will be a free-roaming experience and you can expect to be exploring for around 1 hour. Please note there is limited seating inside the venue. If you require a seat, please speak to one of our stewards who will be able to assist you.
 


FACILITIES


We welcome wheelchair and mobility scooter users at the experience.  We have lifts available for those who would like to use them but they are not suitable for mobility scooters


An audio enhancement system is available within the experience.


Audio Description Guides are available at the experience. 


Assistance dogs are welcome at the
BBC Earth Experience.


Digital Transcripts are available at the experience. 

 

 


There is a chill out space available at the venue. Please let one of our stewards know on arrival if you would like to use the room during your visit.


RELAXED PERFORMANCES 

We run relaxed performances once a month. 

Relaxed performances will be taking place on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 24 October
  • Tuesday 21 November

Relaxed Performances are specially adapted to be accessible to a wide range of audiences and are ideal for anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment. 

Each performance will have: 

  • Relaxed Front of House etiquette, visitors are welcome to come and go as they please
  • Softened lighting for better navigation
  • Lowered sound levels 
  • Ear defenders available
  • Friendly members of staff to answer your questions
  • Dedicated quiet space

SENSORY BACKPACKS

We have five sensory backpacks available at the venue. Please speak to our stewards at the Information Point who will sign one out for your use.
Please remember to hand back the backpack at the end of your visit. 

Each backpack includes:

  • An illustrated map of the BBC Earth Experience
  • Ear defenders
  • PECS communication fan
  • Tactile toys
